Oats have one of the lowest GIs of all grains and a single serve each day provides you with a substantial amount of fiber. Fiber helps reduce blood cholesterol levels and keeps you feeling fuller for longer. Eating oats in the morning will help stabilize your blood sugar levels throughout the day and prevent those morning/afternoon crashes. The less processed the oats are, the more fiber they contain, so i recommend sticking to rolled oats. I eat oatmeal pretty much every day for breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and should never be missed!
Hi Danielle!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all i just wanted to say how big of an inspiration you are. And i really mean it. I think it is great you show people (especially girls!) how important it is to eat well in order to look good!
I'd wish you posted inspirational meal pictures or informational posts more often, i check up on your posts very regularly to ensure i'm not missing anything:)
Is it possible you upload an idea of your workout week, what you do and at what intensity? i'm a pretty intense exerciser myself, i think it's safe to say i am one of the stronger girls at the gym (strength and cardio). but i like to be inspired by others:)
and what do you eat pre and (especially) post exercise? just regular meals like uploaded, with fats carbs protein, or do you watch certain aspects too?
Lastly i wanted to ask whether it is possible to give more often ideas on complete days in terms of meals, snacks included. Especially with the snacks, im sometimes out of inspiration, when i have already had quark nuts fruit etc. Do you also always combine carbs (from fruit for example) with a protein? Since i started eating more according to my leaning out goals i started excluding fruit as a snack and only have it at breakfast...and only combined with complex carbs and fats and protein, since i also suffer from reactive hypoglycemia. Do you have an opinion on this? Or an advice? (I am sedentary most of the day, except from exercising)
Again thank you for being such an inspiration! xx
