Tanning

This summer I haven't really had any holiday due to saving all my annual leave for Europe in July (will all be worth it in the end), So I have been using fake tan more regularly then I normally would.
The gorgeous girls from TigerMist have sent me their new tanning product that I am beyond impressed with it! It's green based too so it doesn't come up orange at all. The best thing about moose is the convenience of no mess, but take note not to forget your gloves!

3 simple steps
1- Exfoliate
2- Moisturize
3- Apply tan with gloves
Let it set for 6 hours min then have a body wash, then moisturize again :)

Oatmeal

Oats have one of the lowest GIs of all grains and a single serve each day provides you with a substantial amount of fiber. Fiber helps reduce blood cholesterol levels and keeps you feeling fuller for longer. Eating oats in the morning will help stabilize your blood sugar levels throughout the day and prevent those morning/afternoon crashes. The less processed the oats are, the more fiber they contain, so i recommend sticking to rolled oats. I eat oatmeal pretty much every day for breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and should never be missed!

BBQ Salmon

Tonight's dinner was BBQ salmon, tomato & cucumber salad, marinated green peas with fresh lemon

Fettuccine marinara

I don't eat pasta much but when I do Fettuccine marinara is weakness! This one was made by me. Recipe below :)

Ingredients
-2 tbs olive oil to cook sauce, plus extra to toss
-1 onion, finely chopped
-3 garlic cloves, crushed
-1 cup (250ml) dry white wine
-1 fresh finely chopped tomato
-500g marinara mix (rinse in strainer before cooking)
-chopped parsley
-fresh chili if you desire
-500g spaghetti

1- Heat oil in a large saucepan, add onion and cook until softened
2- Add garlic and wine and simmer for 2 minutes then add tomato & chili, stirring occasionally until slightly thickened.
3- Meanwhile cook the pasta in boiling (make sure you add a pinch of salt). Drain and toss in a little olive oil.
4- Add marinara mix and mussels to sauce, cover with lid and cook 3-4 minutes
5- Stir in parsley, then toss the sauce through the pasta and serve.
