Oatmeal the best breakfast to start the day. It has so many health benefits. I eat this most mornings and i change the flavors by adding my favorite toppings eg honey, cinnamon, banana, mixed berries ect. Heart healthy filled with cholesterol-lowering fiber called beta-glucan. Up to 5 grams of fiber per 1/2 cup they are the perfect superfood to promote weight loss and increase your energy in the morning.
How do you normally prepare your oats? And is it true that microwaving kills the nutritional benefits of the oaties?
ReplyDeleteI prepare them in water and lite milk. Or just water. They are still nutritious when microwaved. It helps them break down so you digest them better. If I'm not having them warm I put them in natural yoghurt and sometimes soak over night then add my toppings in the morning :)
